This one finally hit the nets a few days ago, and I'm actually slightly disappointed, which is not something I'm accustomed to saying in regards to anything Boredoms related. It's one 9 minute track with 4 remixes by Alts, DJ Finger Hat, and Lindtrom. The whole EP still has that same heaven sent sound that Boredoms has been creating for 10 years now, and there's a little more synth action, but, overall, it seems less inspired than what I'm used to hearing from the band. The Lindstrom track is pretty solid, and will make you want to listen to Michael Jackson or play Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, but I think I'd rather listen to any of the other entries in the Super Roots series. Still a must have for Boredoms collectors though.- Dan

I disagree. The original track is fantastic in its own right, but that Lindstrøm remix is just astounding. I just can't get over how perfect it is. There's just no topping that. It's disco heaven.

I agree. The original track is good, but as the reviewer said it is not a far stretch from what Boredoms has been doing now for at least 10 years. I don't think I would be as disappointed if Thrill Jockey would release this shit in the U.S., as had been announced, so I didn't have to pay $25 for one track.
p.s. fuck remixes.
I agree that remixes are horrible for boredoms tracks. They simplify the work and are always a step too far removed from the boredoms sound. This just makes it annoying to listen to when I am in the mood for Boredoms. Disco? Really? It's like a kick to the stomach.
if you don't like it, then build a time machine and go back to the 90's.
