VIDEO: Fuzz - Raise

New video for "Raise" from Fuzz's debut full-length. If you missed out on a copy of the gorgeous black velvet and foil-embossed limited edition LP late last year, shed a tear and buy the less-awesome, but much cheaper, version over at In the Red Records.

New Electric Ride - Balloon Age

I find it to be no coincidence that I was able to give New Electric Ride's debut LP on Beyond Beyond is Beyond Records its first proper spin today, the first 70 degree day of 2014 in Richmond, VA. This British four-piece creates some gorgeous sunshine-y springtime psychedelia with incredibly infectious hooks and the kind of varied instrumentation I always hope to hear. Stream some of the album over at bandcamp, and pre-order your copy before its release on the 25th.

Fossor House - Demo 2013

Fossor House is a side project for members of Wild Moth, Synthetic ID and Hunting party. The band mixes early '90s post punk ala Drive Like Jehu with some Creation records inspired jangly guitar leads. In other words, this is everything I like about music bundled in a surprisingly well recorded 5 song demo. For more information check out the Fossor House Bandcamp page

La Secte du Futur - Greetings From Youth

New album from French garagers La Secte du Futur (members of Catholic Spray, JC Satan, and Skategang). This isn't your standard garage rock record. There's some borderline pop punk bouncing riffs throughout that set La Secte de Futur into a category of their own. Stream it below and pick up the vinyl (limited to 500) from XVIII Records.

Heaters - EP

New EP from the band formerly known as Plantains (who also just released an excellent split 12" with Os Noctambulos on Stolen Body Records). Hailing from Grand Rapids, Michigan, Heaters are a perfect mix of the West Coast garage and Austin psychedelic sound. Stream it below and pay what you will over at bandcamp.
